internet explorer 6, no custom Icons for 'links toolbar' entries

For some reason, all of the entries in my 'Links toolbar'
only show up the default ICONS. For example, I have
UASTODAY in there. I inserted it by doing an 'add
favourite' while on the site, then asking it be put into
my links folder in the favourites list.

It shows up, but instead of having the nice USATODAY
ICON, it uses the default explorer icon. All the ICONS
in links are the same.

Any idea how I can get and see the custom ICON for each
site?

Thanks.

Favicons are stored in TIF and when you empty TIF or they expire out of TIF
you get the generic icon. Try FavOrg:
