Windows XP Internet Explorer 6 - images prob

Hi again all,

This is a puzzler a friend asked me about....

On some sites how come the images don't come up - some do but some just have a white box with a little red cross in or something..

Is this something to do with the browser ?? I don't think the service pack has been downloaded.

Any advice appreciated again

Sometimes when someone makes a website, they make errors in the code or forget to "upload" the images to the internet. This causes these sorts of errors

On the other hand, it can occasionally be a bug with IE. There is a particular image in this very site that my browser sometimes does not load, and shows a cross for - even though everything is correct. In this case, I simply right click, then select "Show Picture" and all is solved
