Hello,
If you have Internet Connection Sharing setup on XP it creates its own DHCP
server. All you need to do on the client is check the radio button for
"Obtain an IP address automatically". This will cause the Win 2000 client
to do a broadcast request for an IP address. The XP ICS box will then
reply with an IP address and the required info to allow the 2000 client to
go out through XP.
