Internet access

I am adding a new XP workstation to a NT 4.0 server LAN
and cannot get through the gateway on the server to the
internet. All the old PCs (WIN98) work fine to the
internety. The XP PC can see the server and mapped drives
etc. Just can't get out on the net.

Thoughts?

Hmmm....Can the XP machine ping something on the
Internet? Is this XP Home or Pro? If Pro, have you
joined the domain? Is TCP/IP set to be the default
protocol? Is there some kind of security set up on the
server that is not allowing the new machine out?
