Intellipoint runtime error

I have intellipoint 4.0 on my xp pro box and i received this runtime error:

"Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft IntelliPoint\point 32.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Any reason to worry about this and is there a patch available?

I would worry about it (even more if it really had a space in
point32.exe)
Is that the recommended version for your particular mouse?

I have Intellipoint 5.2 though if I go to the download site, it
recommends 5.5

Tthe individual who received the error typed it into outlook. Therefore the
spaces did not occur in the original message.
