Integrate DNS into AD?

We currently have 2000 AD up and using a DNS server on the network, but it is
not integrated into AD. Does anyone know how to integrate the DNS into AD?

Note that only Win 200x based DNS Server can be AD-integrated, and it must
reside on a Domain Controller. Other types of DNS can function just as well
(BIND 8.2.1 and above).

AD Integrated DNS of course works only if the
Primary DNS server (etc.) are on DCs.

As long as the Primary server is on a DC, just go
to the DNS server that is Primary, select the zone
and change the type to integrated.

Wait for replication. Confirm replication.

Change other Secondary DNS servers that run on
DCs at your option to also be AD Integrated.

Consider changing the Dynamic updates to secure
only updates.

We're AD integrated DNS on our first DC, when i went to install a
secondary zone on the next DC, i installed the service and it
automatically created and populated the zones.

Has it just pulled this information from AD or does it mean that the
DNS service has been previously installed and then removed so the new
installation is just looking at old zone files?

If i delete the zones will it delete them from AD and therefore also
from the PDC?

Many thanks,

Tim.
