DNS on Active Directory

Hi All,
i have windows 2003 AD domain abc.com on HK , i need setup additional
domain controller on new york office, i have question on DNS server , when i
setup the DNS on New york office is primary zone , secondary zone or Active
driectory-integrated ??? if i setup to AD-integrated , when user on new york
join to domain abc.com , then the domain should be synchronize the dns
record. right ???? Thanks ALL

then dcpromo ??????
the new york server dns ip address is hk server root dns ???? when success
dcpromo , new york server will be change to 127.0.0.1 ???? Thanks,

1. In the New York server, point DNS IP in IP properties to the existing DC
in the other site. THis way the machine knows where to "find" Active
Directory. Then run DCPROMO.

2. Once completed, check Event viewer again for any errors. If there are,
post the eventID # and Source name.

3. If no errors, then install DNS under Add/Remove, Windows Components.

4. Once DNS is installed, do NOTHING else. Walk away from it. Do NOT
manually add any zones or it will cause numerous dupe errors. Wait about a
half hour or so and the zone will automatically appear.

5. Check Event viewer again for any errors. If there are, post the eventID #
and Source name.

6. Once the zone appears under Forward Lookup Zones, go into the NIC's IP
properties and change the first DNS entry to point to itself (IP address,
not the loopback), and for the second entry, point to the other DC in the
other site.
