Instant messaging dialog box

Over the last several days I have been get a dialog pop up box that displays
the following "Exchange instant messaging sign-in failure" There is some
more information displayed but this is the first line. I am not on an
exchange server. I have a home system with a wireless network. I have used
this setup for years. Now over the last several days I start getting this
message. Does anyone know what is happening? Did I hit the wrong button?

Thanks
Mike

Greetings Mike,

Sounds like it. To stop this, open up the main Messenger window, click the Tools menu, then
Options, then Accounts tab and uncheck the Exchange option.

If you don't see it, you'll need to describe what Messenger version you're using (as this has
moved around a little and even then, only exists in certain versions of Windows Messenger).
