I have a genuine windows 2000 disk however I dont have the
original jewel case or the cd key or install key. Is
there a way for microsoft to tell me the number or re-
install it over on old version without the key.

If it was a retail license and you have proof of purchase:

If it was an OEM license, you should contact the computer's
manufacturer.
