Installing VPN client -> Blue Screen

I am trying to install Nortel Contivity client on a brand
new Gateway laptop (Win XP Pro w/SP1). I get a bule
screen and a reboot. Then I have to go back to last known
config.....

The software is certified for Win XP Pro....
Any thoughts or suggestions?

When you BSOD there should be an 8 digit hex number that can tell you why
the machine bugchecked, but I have a feeling that's not the kind of help
you're looking for.

If this happens whenever you install the Nortel software you should contact
them and explain the problem.
