Installing Quake 2

Every time I try to install the game a message comes up saying "
C:\\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.The System file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications".Please Help Me Out because I've
been trying to intall some other games and the same message appears.

Copy autoexec.nt from c:windows\repair into your c:\windows\system32
folder. Click ok when asked to replace. That will help.
