installing "office"

have had to do a clean install of XP and lost "office". Have tried to
re-install. Says it is installed - although I can see applications I cannot
start them. What have I forgotten ? How do I kick start these programmes ?

any help appreciated

I have tried this - message says "installed". I think problem is that I am
being asked for 15 digit number to start Office. Although I have the proper
disc, I no longer have the key number. A computer shop managed to install
from the disc when I upgraded to XP - how can this be done without a key code
?

They probably used a keycode finder like Jellybean or Belarc.. you could
have used them too, but for the fact that you wiped your system clean while
re-installing Windows.. not good news, I am afraid..
