Installing new software

After installing XP SP2, I have ran into this problem when trying to install
my Quicken 2002 software (it was on the computer before I reformatted). When
I click on "Install Quicken 2002 New User Edition", I get the following error:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

Close (button) Ignore (button)

Has anyone run into this problem?

It seems prevelant; not entirely clear what is causing the trouble, but
Two possible causes:
Could be caused a trojan or something similar, e.g. see
http://groups.google.com/[email protected]

Also, AVAST (antivirus software) can be the cause if you
have WinXP SP2 installed:
http://groups.google.com/[email protected]
and run an up to date check with a good AV program anyway

You can correct the matter by copying windows\repair\autoexec.nt back
into windows\system32, but if you have one of these problems it will
only arise again
