installing netbeui

I followed the instruction which are everywhere on how to install netbeui
(copy netnbf.inf to \inf\ etc), but when I get to the list of available
protocols netbeui isn't there. It doesn't come up immediately(all I see is
network monitor driver) and I have to select the "have disk" option, browse
to windows\inf folder and then I also get IPX and tcpip but no netbeui.
Any suggestions on whats gone wrong ?

The NetBEUI are not in the Windows\INF folder, by default. You have to copy
them to that folder, first.
