installing Mcafee's epo agent on xp machine

We are trying to deploy Mcafee's epo agent onto our
Windows xp machines. There are no problems doing it on
our 2000 machines.
We are wondering if it has to do with some security
settings on xp.
Any ideas?
Mcafee support says to install manually - what a joke

You will have to disable "Simple File Sharing" in Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options. EPO installer uses an impersonated user (that has elevated priv's) to install. We did this through GPOs by the way...

We deploy Mcafee's epo agent onto Windows XP without
problem. Our clients are user restricted.
We instaled VirusScan 7.0 and VirusScan 7.1 with little
problems.
What epo's console show, I mean which is the error ?
