Installing Internet E-mail in Outlook

I cannot install Outlook for Internet mail in Outlook. I
recently put XP on my machine and Office 2000. Everything
works fine except when I try to open Outlook I get an
error saying that I need to run 4.1 or better. I have 5.0
on the machine. I installed SP1 with Outlook Express and
it still does not work. Any ideas?

Could please specify a bit more and recheck the versions you are using? As
you are using Windows XP you should at least be having Internet Explorer
6.0. Also make sure you've applied all the updates and servicpacks for both
Office and Windows.
