Installing IIS on Windows XP

Good afternoon Windows XP forum,

Trying to install Internet Information Service on Windows XP Professional. I
go to Control
Panel, Add or Remove Programs, Add/Rremove Windows Components. This brings
up Windows Component Wizard. I click on Internet Information Services. All
othe boxes are cleared.
It looks like its installing IIS but it also deletes a bunch of other files.
IIS is installed but
Accessories and utilities is uninstalled, as is Internet Explorer and the
Windows Media Player.
So I go back to the Windows Component Wizard and click on Accessories and
Utilities , Internet Explorer and the Windows Media Player. But now IIS is
uninstalled.
How can I install IIS without removing other pograms?

Thanks.

Removing the check mark next to a component uninstalls that
entry. Put a check mark next to IIS and leave all the other
items you want to keep on your computer checked.
