Installing AIW VE on XP

I'll be installing an AIW VE on XP Pro for the first time. Not just that
but also my first installation of a Radeon card.

I've downloaded:

wxp-w2k-catalyst-7-95-031028m-011774c.exe - Cat 3.9 graphics driver
mmc-8-1-0-0-dao-mdac.exe - what ever this is
atiCDwiz-v2-1.exe - DVD decoder (no dvd player yet)
mmc-8-7-0-0.exe - MMC 8.7

So what method of madness do i go through to install it correctly?

you'll also need the wdm drivers.
read the ati install faqs

wxp-w2k-catalyst-7-95-031028m-011774c.exe has Display Driver,
Control Panel & WDM Capture driver. 1 download instead of 3 seperate
ones.

Not needed - it's in the mmc 8.7 -pack

Just install it in the right order - i.e.:
Cat
dvd (you'll need your driver-cd)
MMC

Oh, and make sure no other graphics drivers are present in windoze-
