been trying to install sim city 3000 uk edition on my windows xp, but keep
getting the message " 16 bit windows subsystem,
c:windows\system32\autoexec,nt. " this system file is not suitable for
running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications. choose close to terminate
this application . i have no idea what this means or even where to start to
find out how to correct it. i have installed the game on a spare computer
which in windows 98 and it is running fine, so obviously something missing on
this bloody thing. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks

well, this is a guess but, it may be because of the region difference between
the OS and the cd. or, more likely, the cd-drive is not compatible with the
region of the cd. but, wih the 16 bit thing, it may be that the cd and the
monitor are using different region things (NTSC, PAL).. check on those things
first. After that,GOOGLE!
