Installation Query

It is the right time for me to seek clarification on something that has
caught me out in the past.
I have just installed XP Pro onto a new Master HD, but left the Slave HD
connected.
My Master HD appears as "Local Disk (H)" and my Slave partitions are C, D,
E, and F, with my CDROM being G.
I want my Master HD to be C.
I know how to change the ID of the others but understand that my H cannot be
changed to C.
Is this so?
If so, is there any program/utility/application that can do this or should I
disconnect the Slave HD and do a new install of XP?
If so, can I disable the Slave in the BIOS or should I unplug the power or
data cable to it?

Thanks for any clarification

Brian,
I would physically disconnect the Power Connector to the Drive.
Then reinstall WinXP.
