If everything runs, don't worry about it, a hacker will be
looking on C:, you a have an little extra protection.
| Please tell me where I went wrong.
| I have a 2 HD system, with both drives in plugin racks.
| I bought a new 60 gig HD and wanted to replace the master
HD and do a new
| install of XP Pro.
| I set the BIOS to see my new master as well as the slave.
| When I went to install XP it gave the 2 slave partitions
the letters C and
| D.
| The new master was given G.
| I could not see any way of changing the letters so assumed
that XP would
| show as being installed to C when the install was finished
and the slaves
| given new letters.
| However it now shows XP as being installed on G and the
slave partitions are
| C and D.
| Disk Management lets me rename the slave partitions but
not change the XP
| system partition to C.
| Where did I go wrong, and what do I do now?
|
| Thanks
