Installation of XP Home with SP2

Good Morning,

I am trying to upgrade a Dell Dimension L933 series with 256MB of RAM
running Windows ME to Windows XP Home Edition. The upgrade is from a CD rom
of Windows XP Home that comes bundled with SP2. I have run upgrade advisor
and it did not find any compatibility issues. Bios has been updated -
antivirus was uninstalled. The setup starts and asks me if I want an upgrade
or clean install - I have tried both. I even went so far as to use KILLDISK
and reformat and reinstall Windows ME prior to updating the BIOS and trying
the update. It goes through the dynamic update, but when it tries to load
the setup files, I get a blue screen with a grey line and then the computer
shuts down.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank,
SL
