Order of Installation (XP Home, Pro, & SP2)

I presently have an XP Home system and am planning on
upgrading to the XP Pro O/S in 2 to 3 months. In regards
to SP2 should I upgrade to XP Pro first and then install
SP2 or can I install SP2 to XP Home and then upgrade to
XP Pro? Any pros or cons either way?

Greetings --

Upgrade to WinXP Pro first. If you have SP2 installed on WinXP
Home, the upgrade to Pro may fail, reporting that a newer version of
the OS is already installed.
