I have installed Vista in a clean E: (16 GB) partition. The installation
process
completes including a successful reboot half-way through.
However, after the installation, there is the final reboot. This has a
problem:

On powering up, the boot process halts with an error 0xc000000e in
\windows\system32\winload.exe

There are two hdd, in BIOS ok, in XP ok!
There is winxpsp2 installed in c:
I did test iso file, it´s ok by microsoft site.
I Burn in dvd, I verify and it´s ok.
I see the posts here, and nothing to resolve my problem.
Help me, please!
Thanks

When you install Vista did you have any hardware peripherals attached to the
pc, i.e, USB printers, WebCams or other peripherals? Sometimes these can
cause problems because the operating system is searching for drivers it does
not have.

It may be worth wiping the partition and re-installing again, but make sure
you remove all external hardware - so disconnect the printer, any USB modems
or Webcams and try again.

Also i notice you have two hard drives. Is the partition you installed vista
to on the first hard drive (where your C: drive is)? If so try creating a
partition on your second hard drive and install Vista to that. I have
noticed a number of posts where users' have installed on the same hard drive
and problems have occurred. I personally have done it both ways - partition
on hard drive 1 and partition on hard drive 2 and haven't had any problem.
Either way it may be worth a try.

An integrated webcam, Dan, shouldn't make any difference. However, whether
the webcam will work after install Vista is another matter.
