Install Windows 2000 on a DELL Inspiron 7000 Laptop

Recieved the following Error message during the
installation process after the hard drive has been
reformatted.

Setup had problems registering the following OLE control
DLL C:\\WINNT\SYSTEM32\INITPKI.DLL

What is the likly problem and how would you fix it so
that you can get the installation to work.

Help me please! Thank You

You can try manually registering it. From a command prompt;
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\initpki.dll

Microsoft Trust Installation and Setup dll

I'm having exactly the same problem... Trying to resolve it, but ho
can I get into a DOS-command prompt, when Win2K doesn't star
completely??
