Install two usb printers to one computer

Does anyone have any idea how to install two Lexmark USB
printers to the same computer. The second printer gives
an error "problem communicating with the printer"--thanks!

Are they two exact same models? Being Lexmark printers, it's probably some
confusion in the Lexcbe service Lexmark installs, but you'd have to ask
Lexmark themselves.
