Install trouble

Every edition of Vista, I have tried to install it but it always fails. When
I begin the clean install on a separate partition of my raid 0 configuration
(Nforce3 chipset) starting from windows I either get a 0x07e or 0x07b stop
error, i have always had this problem and even when I try to install it on an
80gb IDE hard drive it does not work, same issue.

Here are my specs:
Chaintech VNF3-250 Motherboard (Nforce3 Chipset & Raid)
AMD 64 3000+
2X 80gb Hitachi SATA hds in a Raid 0 config
1 80gb Maxtor IDE Hd
ATI Radeon 9550 Graphics card
768mb DDR 2600 (i have thoroughly tested this and it is alright)

Also, is there a way I can transfer my Raid configuration to a regular setup
(or maybe a JBOD if that won't affect ne thing), i've had to many problems
with it, using the same hard drives?

Thank you!

if your operating system is located on the same drive, different partition,
vista will not like sharing its turf, and likely wont allow you to install
on that partition. You need a seperate drive, or need to install over your
existing operating system.
