Install Trouble

Hi,

I downloaded Windows Vista beta 2 to install and I have had only trouble. I
am currently running Windows XP Pro SP2 and have tried upgrading with 4
different disk to Vista. 2 -> I burned my self at different speeds one at
1x and another at 4x, 1-> redownloaded the 32bit iso and burned at 2x... 1->
The Official dvd from microsoft...

Heres the problem when I try to upgrade within windows it runs through it
all then the first restart I get errors and it doesnt go any farther.

Heres the other problem i try through booting up the computer and It goes to
the screen loading windows files(for setup obviously) then to a quick black
and white windows loading screen with a bar at the bottom... then to the
beautiful background with nice greens and blues and it never loads anything
else after that. Another words it starts to load and when it gets there it
just stops.

My computer requirements are greater than the recommended:
AMD XP 3200+
1.5gig ram
200gig hdd 80 gig free
ATI Radeon x850 256mb ram
Audigy 2

Any help would be great.

thanks

I recommend you... not to actualize xpsp2 with Vista in production machines.
So, I recommend to install Vista beta in another partition. Have you checked
for drivers?

I've got a notebook, and installed Vista64 and it not recognize any of my
hardware,... so ethernet, video, audio, etc, etc, is not working with Vista.

You might want to check the BIOS settings. For some reason, while playing
with Vista, the ethernet adaptor got disabled. After I re-enabled it in the
BIOS things were back to normal.
