Install of dotnet require reboot?

Hi
I have a Windows 2000 server that is our FSMO role holder (hence quite
important!). We need to install ditnet Framework 1.1 - will this require the
server to reboot to take effect?
Any help would be much appreciated!

I just installed it and it never asked for a reboot..? Maybe it needs one to
take affect.. well, the server could do with a reboot anyway

I don't remember ever installing where it wasn't required but better to ask
them here.
