Install require server reboot?

Hi
I have a Windows 2000 server that is our FSMO role holder (hence quite
important!). We need to install ditnet Framework 1.1 - will this require the
server to reboot to take effect?
Any help would be much appreciated!

We just installed .net framework 1.1 on a series of 2000
and 2003 servers, and didnt have to reboot, however I have
no knowlege of whether or not they were "FSMO role holders"
