There are a total of three hits for "fetch the system code page" at
groups.google.com with no useful results. And they are the same
person who asked three different times.

There are no hits that I could find elsewhere. And I have no idea
what your problem is.

All I can suggest is to convert your Access 2.0 to a newer version of
Access. You may need to import into a newer version rather than
converting.

I've installed Access 2 on at least two different WinXP systems. But
it was probably before SP2.

I had no problems whatsoever with it.

If you try running it under a user-level logon, you'll want to have
installed in a location that is user writable, as I believe some of
the components in the application folder need to be writable. I
can't remember if I had to fiddle with permissions on the Access 2
application folder or not.

What language and locale are you trying to use? People don't normally
see this message if they are using English Access on English Windows.
