Install cannot find Ikernal.exe?

Hi,
Updateing software on 3 machines 2 running xp pro and 1 home.
Install went fine on first 2 but on 1 pro i get the message that the
install cannot find Ikernal and closes.
I'm in administrator account and did a search for Ikernal which is in

C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine\6\Intel32
Same place it is in on other machines, did a copy and paste to
replace it in case it was corrupt and still get the error message.

Any Suggestions?
