Insert slides from other presentation and keep it's master

Have presentation and want to insert slides from different office. What to
keep the inserted slide exactly like they are, do not want them to take on
any traits of my master.

Which version of PowerPoint? In 2003/2007, you insert slide from file, and
maintain original formatting.

In addition to Michael's reply, if you are using 2007 the option is now on
the home tab -> new slide drop down -> re-use slide. Remember to tick 'keep
source formatting'. We have had reports of it not working perfectly in 2007,
so you may also want to try a simple copy/paste from one presentation to the
other and selecting 'keep source formatting' from the options on the little
clipboard that will appear.
