Insert scan in e-mail

I just upgraded to Outlook 2007. In my earlier version, I could scan an image
and insert in to an e-mail. I am unable to determine how to do that in my new
version. Is this feature no longer available? Thanks in advance for any help!

Send to e-mail is a function of whatever OCR software you are using.
Either it is using MAPI to send the content to a new e-mail or it uses
a plug-in to Outlook. Try uninstalling and reinstalling whatever
"scan" software you use.

Thanks I will try your suggestion. In my earlier version of Outlook (2003), I
could select Insert a picture from a scanner and did not have to use the OCR
software.
