Insert pictures from internet into powerpoint slides with Vista

I was using Windws XP and when building a powerpoint using the insert
pictures shortcut, ti gave an option to allow you to search for a picture on
the internet. How do you do this on Vista, without having to close your
powerpoint, and then search the internet and save to pictures first?

Nur,
Not sure what you mean by 'the insert pictures shortcut'. If you mean the
office online collection that is still searchable. In fact the taskpane is
still exactly the same, to get to it click the Insert tab on the ribbon,
click the clipart button and you are there. In the search in list just make
sure there is a check next to webcollections.
Or maybe you are referring to the button at the top of the insert picture
dialogue? That seems to have disappeared in Windows Vista as far as I can
tell.

Hi,

Not sure it is vista related. In PowerPoint 2003 on Vista, the button
exists, which simply takes you to your internet browser and allows you to
search externally. In PowerPoint 2007 in Vista, the button does not exist.
But you could stills each through your internet browser. You just can fire
the option from within PowerPoint 2007.
