insert live web page in powerpoint

I'm trying to insert part of a live web page in Powerpoint (it's basically a
banner preview) as i don't have the flash file to insert with the Shockwave
Flash Object insert tool.

Is it possible to use something like an iframe that will only display a
specific part of a specific web page within Powerpoint?

Any help would be very much appreciated...

Why don't you use a screen capture that you paste in PPT and crp?

Do you mean take a static screenshot of the web page and paste the image? i'm
actually trying to show a moving banner within the presentation but i don't
want to show the whole page, just the part where the banners shows...

Thanks, i tried this but i can't see a way to crop the page so that only a
specific section is shown in the presentation. It shows the whole page and
you need to scroll around to get the section you want into the window...

Any further ideas?

many thanks

Yes, I mean a static page because it's easy to crop

The only other way I can see to do what you want has already been mentioned. do a screen capture, crop the image to what you want, then put that into your presentation.

You could try the SoThink SWF Catcher tool for IE - free. If the banner is
an SWF you can save it to your PC then use embed in your PPT. I suppose it's
prudent to watch for potential copyright and/or similar issues. BTW, I am
not affiliated w/SoThink in any way.
