Introducing a Flash movie in a powerpoint presentation

I am trying to introduce a flash movie (expandable banner) into a powerpoint
presentation for a client. I have tried using
insert:
image
movie
object

and in all of these options received a refusal

How can I overcome this without having to resort to using screen grabs?

Many thanks!

Hi Henrique,
You will need to enable the Control toolbox (View > Toolbars > Control
Toobox) first. From there, click on More Controls, and select Shockwave Flash
Object.
You can then go to the properties and insert the flash from there.

Once a flash file is setup onto a PPT 2007 Slide, how can I allow or create
play, stop, pause buttons for the Flash file?
Another option would be to have the Flash movie ALWAYS start at the
beginning every time that slide is 'viewed'. Currently, my movie will start
where I left it
Ideas, thoughts, etc....
Thanks,
Todd

I have been trying to embed flash into the powerpoint from following your
tutorial however I get as far as the Properties window and the custom but
doesnt appear. Any thoughts why this may be happening would be much
appreciated.

I have the same problem as Kennym - I use PPT 2003 and I get to the part
where I want to specify what SWF-file - but there is no "Custom" text/button
as in the instruction. What to do?

Put the file path in the "movie" line instead.
