initial path after opening XP File Explorer

Hi,

I want to hide drives on XP PCs by setting the corresponding value in
registry "nodrives". This work fine for every drives except C: because by
opening Explorer, it points to the Starmenu directory, making the C: drive
visible again.

Where can I set that this initial path points, for example, to "My
Computer"?

Thanks,
Hubert.

A simple search on Google:
http://www.google.com/search?q=explorer.exe+"my+computer"+switches

....finds this:

A simple search on Google:

Thanks Klaus (simple when you put the right words...). The problem is that I
should do it on a lot of PCs connected to an Active Directory. I am already
using Kixtart to do some shared drives settings.

I would like to be able to say: "independantly of how a user open the
explorer, go to this drive\folder". Is that possible?

Hubert.

I have just seen that some Group policies could eventually help... I will
have a look.

Hide the drives + Prevent access to them (Google NoViewOnDrive )

Good Luck, Ayush.
