Indexing outlook 2000 mail with google desktop fails

Hello,
I try to index outlook 2000 mail with google desktop search engine
without success. However previous outlook express mail is indexed.
My system: XP SP1. I have both outlook express and outlook 2000
installed.
I tried all solutions recommended by google:
1)Outlook opened during the initial search.
2)add-in for Desktop Search enabled. I fail to comply to this request.
Following the recommended procedure fails: there is no item as 'Google
Desktop Search Outlook Addin.' showing to be checked.
Here is the recommended procedure:
.Open Outlook.
.Go to 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'Other' > 'Advanced Options...' >
'Add-In Manager.'
.Place a check next to 'Google Desktop Search Outlook Addin.'
3) Uninstalling and then re-installing google desktop,
4) ...

Have you any idea ?
