INDEX ALREADY EXISTS WITH SOME AS400 TABLES

Hello all!!

I have been trying to solve this problem for last weeks without success. I
would like to link a AS400 table with MsAccess through ODBC. I linked tables
from the same AS400 without problem, but when i try to link some tables the
system send a message that said "Index already exists".

I read almost all the article that this web pages has, but I go on being
unable to solve this problem

I try to change the propierties of these tables but as I don't have the table
in access before linking, it´s imposible to change them

you cant do this with microsoft access 2003.

you must upgrade to microsoft access 2004:

just a guess that it is not a linking issue per se....there probably is some
conflict between tables ; perhaps an identically named column or field
definitions that are contradictory or maybe a relationship issue....

to prove that it is not really a linking issue - you can just import them
temporarily and see if the conflict still exists in the logic of the
relationships and the table field names....

just a guess however....
