Incomplete installation of XP SP1

I downloaded XP SP1 and it took forever on my dialup.
Then I noticed in the windows update page online it told
me the installation on my computer was not complete.
I got a copy of XPsp1a on a disk but when I try to
reinstall the file I get a message "couldn't verify
integrity of update.inf. Make sure cryptographic service
is running.
What do I do?
