Incoming emails into outbox

Hi all

Got a problem with OL2007. For some reason OL2007 has now decided to
receive incoming emails into the outbox.

I have checked the --> Options --> Mail Setup --> Send/Receive -->
Edit --> Folder options is set to Inbox.

Where else do I need to check.

Thanks in advance

John

Do you have any add-ins or rules?

Hi Brian

No rules - a Vanilla installation that was working fine until Friday.
No modifications as far as I am aware. To be fair, it's my mothers
laptop and she is very new to using a PC so I doubt if she has changed
or installed anything.
I do not think there were any updates applied that day.
BTW its running on Vista home edition if that makes any difference

It's the new people who don't understand the side effects of what they do
that are the most likely to do something, not realize it, and make thinks
behave oddly.

If she has the Security service set to update silently (the default, I
believe), how would she know?

Have her start Outlook in safe mode to see if that makes a difference.

Sorted it. Unbelievably she had managed to create a rule to
automatically forward all incoming emails into her outbox.....

Thanks for the pointer on that one ;-))
