Incoming emails appear multiple times

I am using Outlook 2007 and have a pop3 server I use, not exchange. I set up
my account. Most times, but not all times, emails coming in appear multiple
times in my inbox.

This is absolutely an outlook thing. I set up a different email clent on my
machine... the emails appear one time in that client and multiple times in
outlook 2007.

Any ideas?

Do you have a rule which is causing the problem or do you have multiple
email account with the same account info?

I am having a similar problem with Outlook; when I "Reply To" it sends a copy
to my inbox...never did before this week. There are no rules set. Am thinking
this is a virus issue and may do a system restore.

That's very unlikely the cause of a virus.
