Inbox problem from ascending to descending

I am no longer able to arrange my email FROM ascending to descending. I get
an error every time. This only happens in my inbox. Every other folder works
fine. I ran diags to with no errors. I repaired Office with no help. Can
anyone help me with this problem I'm stumped.

I usually click on from once to alphbetatically sort my emails then again on
the "date" to get them sorted by date. I can no longer do this on my Inbox
folder .I went and tried to do field choose and rest everything back to
default. This only happens on my inbox all my other folder work fine. I get
and error the messager interface has returned anunknown error. Can this be
fixed or must I uninstall Outlook 2007 and reinstall it. Also if I import my
email willl this cause my error to come back? Any help would be very helpful.
