In Outlook Express, how do I make the links in e-mails clickable?

I often receive links in e-mails, yet when I click on them, nothing happens.
Where can I change this? Is this a setting I can change in Outlook Express?

You have a much better chance to receive an answer if you ask your
question in an Outlook Express group such as
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general -or-
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

This group is for the Microsoft Office 'Outlook' component, and I for
one have never even opened OE in my life.

If you're using a Pop-up Ad blocker program, check it's documentation to see
if its blocking the opening of a new web browser and how to workaround that.
