Importing .pst's

Dan

I recently moved to a new building operating a different
domain. I saved my .pst onto a cd but didn't modify any
privilages. I was told that I would have to modify the
privilages to allow the everyone group full permissions
to that I could access it now. is this true?

First of all, don't import from the .PST -- just open it using Outlook's
File | Open command. And you'll need to copy it off the CD and remove the
read-only attribute before it will open; Outlook needs write access to a
..PST file. Other than that, I'm not sure what you mean about
permissions...you don't say who or what told you that :)
