Importing PST - "you don't have the permission required to access"

My old computer was starting to die, so I saved my Outlook data as several
..pst files (Inbox, archive, personal, etc) on a CD-RW. Now I'm trying to
import those .pst files into Outlook on my new computer, but it won't let me.
The dialog says "File access is denied. You do not have the permission
required to access the file D:\PersonalFolders061805.pst." I tried to remove
the "read-only" attribute, but got the same dialog. Help, please.!

You must copy the files to your hard drive and remove the read-only
attribute before Outlook can access them. Don't import. Use
File>Open>Outlook Data File to access them.
