Importing Into Frontpage 2002 From My Web Site

While attempting to import my live site from the Web using Frontpage 2002
onto Frontpage on my computer I received messages saying some files could not
be downloaded as they were in use (they were not). I then attempted to import
a folder into Frontpage that I had downloaded to my computer using FTP. At
this point in time the navigation bars on my home page disappeared as the
Home page changed from index.htm to default. In the file list on the
default.htm page has the home icon showing next to it. The index page does
not. The default page does not have any navigation bars at the top while the
index page still does. How do you switch the default.htm page form being the
home page and get the index.htm page back to being the home page? Note that
in the navigation view, the home page is showing as the index.htm.


If I type in "index.htm" after the .com the page does come up properly, but
the default page is taking the place that the index page should occupy. I do
not know how I got the default page. I need the http://com/index.htm to be
the page that I go to as a home page. How can this be fixed please?

Don't use Import if your hosted site has the FP Server Extensions
Publish it from your host to your PC

The home page filename must be the file name used by your host
