Importing eml files into windows mail

Hello,

I needed to create backup eml files for my previous emails and now need to
import those into windows mails. However, when I go through the import
wizard in windows mail and go the appropriate folder, it is empty despite the
fact there are definitely eml files withing this particular folder. I am
looking to import those eml files into my current windows mail inbox.

Did you backup the messages using File | Export or just copying them?

If the import process doesn't work (see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx) then you
can simply drag the eml files overtop the WinMail folder message list and
drop them and then they will be incorporated into the folder.
