Analyze tool blocked Satish

Hello,
I have exported contacts and pst file from office 2003 from my home PC and
need to import it to office XP at my work place.
When I tried this I am getting error “not compatible this versionâ€
Can anyone suggest any solution for this? I can’t install office 2003 at my
work place
Thanks in advance
Regards

I would offer the suggestion we post here every day. You never use export
and import to transfer Outlook data. Thank you for proving that point for
everyone yet again. Thanks also for not reading the posts in the group so we
can post the answer again especially for you.
Exporting loses data and does not permit you to control the format of your
output data. Any file you export from a newer version of Outlook will not be
compatible with versions no longer in support.
You must first create a PST file in your newer version that is compatible
with older versions (Outlook 97-2002). Then you copy your data into that
file. Then you open that file in the older version. If you need more detail,
read the many posts in this group.
